MASS COMMUNICATION! Obasanjo’s open letter to Buhari used in UNILORIN 100 level examination
A 100 level question paper belonging to the Faculty of Communication and Information Science, Department of Mass Communication at the University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin, has gone viral online for using ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari as one of its questions.
Wuzup Naija had earlier reported that Obasanjo had in January 2018 wrote a letter to President Buhari condemning his administration on several national issues currently facing the country.
The former president in the letter tagged; The Way Out: A Clarion Call For Coalition For Nigeria Movement listed some of the pressing national issues to include; poor performance in government, poverty, insecurity, poor economic management, nepotism, gross dereliction of duty and condonation of misdeed.
Obasanjo in the letter also noted that there was lack of progress in the country, no hope for the future, lack of national cohesion and poor management of internal political dynamics as well as widening inequality.
