A man identified as Newman was allegedly murdered and set ablaze by unknown assailant at his farm in ldumu lnei quarters lssele mkpitime in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta state.
This was made known in the picture shared on the Facebook page of one Ngobest Shanka few hours ago.
Shanka wrote,
Umunnem ALU mee, this is man in humanity against man, this man was brutally murdered and set ablaze in his farm on Wednesday, the perpetrator is yet to be unveiled. It happened in ldumu lnei quarters lssele mkpitime in Aniocha North LGA of Delta state.
However, a Facebook user, Ofili Jane Igwe unknowingly confirmed the sad incident when she gave the victim’s name as Newman, and revealed that he had neither wife nor a child. She wondered why anybody would kill him.
She wrote,
Oh uncle Newman!!! You’ve no wife nor children so why should anyone on earth envy you to the extent of murdering and set you ablaze???
