Asisat Oshoala puts smiles on faces of Mushin kids, SEE what she donated to them
Nigeria’s Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala has put smiles on the faces of football kids in Mushin area of Lagos.
According to goal.com, the 21-year-old who plays professional for Arsenal ladies, recently donated over 50 Arsenal jerseys, balls and boots to five football academies in Lagos State.
Oshoala came through the youth ranks at FC Robo before being afforded her professional debut with Rivers Angels where she travelled abroad to play for Liverpool ladies before joining her present club Arsenal ladies.
Speaking on her gesture, the 2015 African Women’s Footballer of the Year said, “This is where I grew up and I know what they need and know exactly what they lack and even if I am anywhere, I always have them in my heart and with the little I have, I will also remember them.
“I feel these kids are happy and it will serve as an inspiration to them to do more when they move up in their professional career.”
