Ify Okoye, the wife of Northside Entertainment Ltd’s CEO, Jude ‘Engees’ Okoye, has revealed that she is battling COVID-19.
This comes about three days after her husband, Jude, announced that he recovered from the deadly virus via his verified Instagram page.
In a video uploaded on her Insta story on Saturday, Ify could be seen breathing through oxygen with a boldly written caption which states “surviving COVID”.
Although it is unknown when she caught or how long she has been battling the virus, WuzupNigeria can confirm that she is the third person in the Okoye family to contract the virus.
Jude announced his recovery to his 300k fans on Instagram thus: “Been through hell. Face of COVID-19 survivor,” he captioned with a photo of himself.
Singer, Paul Okoye aka Rudeboy of the defunct music duo P-square also contracted the deadly virus and has since recovered.
“Happy new year all 2021 pls don’t overhype it ohhhh abeg …… just take it easy as it comes na over hype spoil 2020 I’m better, stronger, tested negative after 11days,” the Audio Money singer told his 7.1 million Instagram followers days ago.
