Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers have dropped a big update on striker, Raul Jiminez’s condition after undergoing an operation on a fractured skull.
Jimenez rushed to the hospital with oxygen supporting him as he was being stretchered off following a horrific clash of heads with Arsenal defender David Luiz.
Luiz on the other hand, had to be substituted after half time due to injuries sustained as blood could be seen on his bandaged head through the first half.
Wolves’ statement said on Monday: “Raul is comfortable following an operation last night, which he underwent in a London hospital.
“The club would like to thank the medical staff at Arsenal, the NHS paramedics, hospital staff and surgeons who, through their skill and early response, were of such help.
“The club ask that Raul and his family are now afforded a period of space and privacy, before any further updates are provided in due course.”
Arsenal went on to lose the game bu 2-1 after goals from Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence. Defender, Gabriel scored Arsenal’s equaliser before they fell down to a goal from Portuguese star, Podence.
