No Bra Day: How Nigerians commemorated the breast cancer awareness event
It is October 13, and another edition of the No Bra Day.
True, the origin of the commemoration is unclear, but the aim is clear: to raise awareness about breast cancer in the Breast Cancer Awareness month, October.
The message is simple: Let everyone know the importance of breast cancer screening, the symptoms of breast cancer and how to carry out regular self-examinations in the fight against breast cancer.
On October 13, women are encouraged to leave their bras at home.
