COVID-19: Lagos State’s daily toll drops below 50
Lagos State recorded less than 50 cases in its daily COVID-19 toll on Sunday.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 260 new cases in 18 states and the federal capital territory (FCT).
Of that number, Lagos had 38 new cases, bringing its total to 5,767.
It is the first time since May 5, that the state will record less than 50 cases.
A total of 1,025 have already been discharged.
According to the NCDC, there are currently 12,486 cases in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
