President Buhari reveals one of his favourite TV stations, and it is not even NTA

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed that even though he is away from the country, he keeps up with happenings wherever he is.

The president also lauded the Nigerian media, saying he is proud of what they are achieving. He mentioned that one of his favourite Nigerian media outlet is the Channels TV.

He made the revelation on Sunday via his twitter handle. Buhari posted a photo of himself watching TV while receiving a phone call. The TV screen in the background showed Channels TV’s Seun Okinbaloye, anchoring Sunday Politics.

“Wherever I am, I keep up with news from home. Channels TV is one of my favorites. I’m proud of what the Nigerian media are achieving,” he tweeted.

The tweet which has received close to 2000 retweets and over 500 replies saw people making various comments and asking various questions from the president including why he wasn’t watching NTA, the national television instead.
