Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has commenced massive road rehabilitation within the GRA axis in the metropolis.
According to the pictures shared on the Facebook page of Edo political forum, massive road rehabilitation were seen ongoing at Ben- Oni axis with workers of RAYCON Engineering Company busy executing their various tasks.
Governor Obaseki had earlier revealed that his administration was already working on another design for a storm water canal within the GRA that will connect the Ogba River in order to de-flood the entire GRA.
The governor’s gesture had ushered in several commendations from residents living in the areas where some of the rehabilitation work is ongoing as well as motorists and other road users plying the roads.
Recall that the Governor during his campaign, promised residents that he was going to fix the road which was deliberately abandoned by his predecessor.
