The Defence Headquarters of Nigeria says it has handed over some cleared members of the Boko Haram group to their state governments.
The Defence Headquarters made the announcement on its official twitter handle with pictures of the cleared insurgents and uniformed officials of the DHQ and some police officials believed to be attached to the Yobe State command.
“Defence Headquarters handover Cleared Boko Haram Suspects to their various state Government,” the DHQ twitted.
“Cleared Boko Haram Suspects Bakura Tijani and Saidu Lawal from Yobe State handed Over to their State Government.”
