Deadline Day: Out-of-favour Juve midfielder Emre Can joins Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund have won the race to sign out-of-favor Juventus midfielder Emre Can on Deadline Day on an initial loan.
The former Liverpool midfielder joins the Bundesliga side on loan until the end of the season with an obligation to buy for around £21 million, to be paid over three years, if conditions are met in the rest of the 2019/20 campaign.
Dortmund signed off the sale of Paco Alcacer to Villarreal on Thursday, pocketing €23 million (£19.3m) and funding the club’s move for Can.
