Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, on Wednesday, hosted a cross section of journalists in the state.
This was made known in the pictures shared on the Facebook page of EMedia IMSG.
Okorocha who held crucial talk with the media practitioners lauded their change of attitude.
The Governor said he is impressed with the state’s journalists for their support and objectivity in recent time, describing their renewed posture as commendable.
Other dignitaries present at the media parley include the state’s Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, Eze Imo-Eze Samuel Photo, SGI, Sir George Etche, PS, Paschal Obi, state commissioner for information, Engr.Obinna Nshirim and Nuj chairman, Mr Innocent Igwe.
The Governor during the meeting also disclosed that he has given approval to pay the backlog accruing from the over 27 years of pension arrears owed the state’s pensioners.
