Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) popularly known as Shi’ites, on Monday, staged a protest in Abuja over the killing of a top Iranian general Qasem Soleimani.
The Shiites, who protested the killing of Soleimani, also demanded the release of their leader, Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat who are in detention at present.
The placard-carrying protesters also burnt a flag of the United States of America, chanting, “Death To America.”
