JUST IN: Obasanjo meets Fulani group
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has advised Nigerians to stop the blame game and come together to fight the insecurity currently threatening the country’s unity.
Obasanjo said this on Saturday while playing host to representatives of Fulanis in South West at his residence at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The former president maintained that the unity of Nigeria is the responsibility of everyone and not just the government.
He stressed that the country must be ready to be united like it was in the 80s so that the people could continue to remain the reference point for other African countries.
