Deji Adeyanju leads concerned Nigerians to demand Senator Abbo’s prosecution [Photos & video]
Comrade Deji Adeyanju on Wednesday led the Concerned Nigerians group to demand the prosecution of Senator Elisha Abbo for assaulting a nursing mother in an Abuja sex toy shop.
The embattled senator is a Peoples Democratic Party member representing Adamawa North Senatorial District. The incident happened sometimes in May this year.
Adeyanju and the group of protesters marched to the Force Headquarters in Abuja and urged the force to prosecute Senator Abbo adding that he is not fit to be a senator.
He also said that a petition was sent to the Inspector General of police.
“A petition was submitted & the IG of @PoliceNG has assured that an investigation will commence immediately,” one of the tweets read.
