SARS operatives brutalise man who refused to release his phone for inspection [Video]
A video has emerged on social media where some officers suspected to be of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force were brutalising a young man on the street of Lagos.
From the argument that ensued in the video, the young man could be heard telling the officers that they have no right to search his phone.
While one of them was still engaging the young man, his colleague went into their unmarked mini bus to pick a wood and started hitting the young man.
GossipMill shared the video on Twitter and captioned,
“SARS Officers mercilessly beat him up because he had two phones and refused to unlock the expensive one, they seized it, told him to come to Alagbon FCIID to retrieve.”
