Yung6ix wants Burna Boy honoured memorably for bringing Grammy home
Singer, Onome Onokohwomo popularly known as Yung6ix, has asserted that Grammy award winner, Burna Boy deserves to be honoured for winning the global award.
The self-acclaimed “African Giant” won the Grammy award for his album, ‘Twice as Tall, at the 63rd edition on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
The popular singer beat other nominees including Malian band Tinariwen and American band, Antibalas, to emerge winner of the Best Global Music Album category.
Weeks after his big win, Yung6ix has made a case that the singer needs to be honoured in a memorable way for bringing home the award.
He tweeted,
