Young man harvests tubers of yam from seed he sowed during lockdown
A Nigerian man, Osasere Erhahon, has shared pictures of the tubers of yam he harvested last week.
Erhahon who hails from Edo State said that the harvest is as a result of his decision to kill boredom during the coronavirus lockdown period.
Excited about the bountiful harvest, Erhahon revealed that he didn’t make use of fertilizer no additives to arrive at the result.
He shared on Facebook: “I harvested these yams at my backyard last week in Benin. I decided to plant them during lockdown due to boredom but it turned out to be a bountiful harvest. No fertilizer, no additives; I just dug and planted. God is great! Nigerian land is blessed.”
