Laila Charani, the Moroccan wife of billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, has accused her co-wife, actress Regina Daniels, of introducing her to drugs and nearly destroying her marriage.
Laila reacted after Regina claimed she once cared for her and funded many of her needs. In a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, Laila denied the claim, saying she has never relied on Regina for anything and that her husband provides more than enough for all his wives.
“How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly? I am very content with the provisions my husband makes for our family,” she wrote. “You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago. It was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path.”
Laila also alleged that Regina’s real problem with Ned was his demand that she stop using drugs and alcohol. According to her, Ned has always made it clear that he would never accept any wife who smokes or drinks.
She accused Regina of being a bad influence in the household, claiming she gave drugs to nannies, workers, and even her younger sister, Destiny. She further alleged that she does not trust her daughters around Regina, saying she discovered that the actress “was sleeping with every single girl around her.”
“Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately and continue with your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this,” she added.
The feud comes amid Regina and Ned’s marital crisis. Laila, however, appeared unbothered by the situation and even shared photos of herself in Ned’s private jet, which many online saw as a subtle jab at Regina.
