A Twitter user, Naseer Al-Saadi with the handle @Nass has pleaded with Nigerians to stop tweeting at him, saying their reactions are priceless.
Al-Saadi, who is from Qatar said he has been receiving several tweets from Nigerians who intend to tweet at the National Assembly.
The Qatar based man, who disclosed that he was used to Nigerians tweeting at his handle thinking it’s the real NASS, said of late, the tweets directed at him have drastically increased, because of the issue of the stolen mace and all.
@Nass pleaded with Nigerians to leave his handle alone and went ahead to direct Twitter users to the correct handle of the National Assembly.
However, some Nigerians, who obviously were the culprits, took to their Twitter handles and started pleading with him to be one of us, while others begged Al-Saadi to take them away from this country before they can leave his handle alone.
See the hilarious response that greeted @Nass tweet:
Dear Nigerians, please pay attention to the username you are mentioning in your tweets. @Nass is an individual who lives in #Qatar and has nothing to do with politics. The correct handle of your National Assembly #NASS is @nassnigeria …Retweet to make sure Nigerians know. Thanks

@nass you are now part of us. 1st lesson is never to tell Nigerians what to do, especially if you dont like it. Now that you have reminded us, just know that some of us will still @ you when referring to the real nass…

Lol. I already know the correct thing, but I prefer it that way and won’t stop using it until you come and take me out of here. How can you abandon your brother here and be twitting from there? Have you forgotten how we started?

My brother, you did the right thing by calling this out. Your only mistake was mentioning Qatar.
We would’ve left you alone if it was Syria. Sorry, you’re now part of us.

@Nass welcome to being Nigerian. I don’t know what Qatar’s policy is on dual citizenship but we’d be happy to give you citizenship status here. You can be both a Qatari and a Nigerian.
