Nigerians have quickly taken to the social media to continue the battle of supremacy between two of Nigeria and Africa’s finest female acts, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade.

While the latter is seen as a bigger and more recognised artist on the continent, especially with her recent exploits with the Roc Nation where she was reportedly signed, the former has proven otherwise by winning the award as the best female act in Africa for two consecutive years at the Mtv Africa Music Awards (MAMA2016).

The awards ceremony is presently ongoing in Johannesburg, one of the biggest cities in South Africa and Nigerians watching from their homes and at the venue have divergent opinions about who is the better artiste of the pair.
