Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Asake have officially released their much-anticipated joint extended play titled Real Vol. 1.
The four-track EP features Turbulence, Jogodo, Iskolodo and Alaye, further cementing the musical chemistry between the two Nigerian hitmakers.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Wizkid and Asake announced the release on Instagram, where they shared a promotional video of the project.
“Real EP Vol. 1 ti jade bayi,” the duo wrote in the caption, confirming that the project was now available for fans.
The EP comes days after the release of its lead single, Jogodo, which dropped on January 16 and made history on streaming platforms.
Jogodo recorded 1.388 million streams on its first day on Spotify Nigeria, becoming the highest single-day streaming figure for any duo or collaborative song on the platform.
The track debuted at number one on Spotify Nigeria and also entered the global Spotify chart at number 82, reflecting its wide appeal beyond the Nigerian market.
Real Vol. 1 adds to Wizkid and Asake’s growing list of successful collaborations, including popular tracks such as MMS and Bad Girl.
Both artistes enjoyed a strong run individually in 2025. Wizkid’s album Morayo emerged as the most-streamed album on Apple Music Nigeria, while Asake’s Why Love topped the chart as the most-streamed song during the same period.
The joint EP has been widely welcomed by fans, with many describing it as one of the most exciting Afrobeats collaborations in recent times.
