Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian near Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank early Friday, Israeli Channel 12 reported.
According to the broadcaster, the Palestinian allegedly attempted to stab Israeli soldiers during a military operation before the troops opened fire, killing him.
Earlier, Israeli forces conducted raids and searches in several parts of Jenin as part of their ongoing military operations in the area.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medical teams treated a 14-year-old boy who sustained live-fire wounds to his chest and back during an Israeli raid near the Arab American University.
The boy was subsequently taken to a hospital, the organisation said.
The occupied West Bank has faced sustained violence, including attacks by illegal Israeli settlers and military operations, since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023.
During the same period, illegal settlement outposts have expanded, new roads have been constructed and restrictions on Palestinian movement have intensified.
