WIlfred Zaha in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19
Crystal Palace winger, Wilfred Zaha has gone into self-isolation after contracting COVID-19, according to the club.
This news leaves Roy Hodgson who confirmed the report ahead of the clash with Burnley at the Turf Moore fuming.
Speaking on Zaha’s condition, Hodgson said: “He has tested positive unfortunately for coronavirus so is self-isolating, and is awaiting the results of the next test.
“He is not feeling particularly ill, but unfortunately the test proved [positive], and he is following the procedures.”
With Zaha set to miss tonight’s away Premier League match, he has been replaced with loanee, Mitchy Batshuayi on the line up.
