Rappers M.I Abaga and Olamide have expressed sadness at not being able to participate in the protest against the menace of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.
The protest which took place in Lagos on October 8, 2020, saw the presence of top celebrities like Falz, Tiwa Savage, Runtown, Paul Okoye etc.
Olamide who took to Twitter to salute his colleagues for their effort stated that he couldn’t join the protest because he’s not in the country.
“So sad I’m not in NIG atm to show my support but I’m with d people of Nig in spirit. Everyone who’s out there protesting I salute your bravery,” he tweeted.
On his own part, M.I Abaga stated that he couldn’t join the protest because he isn’t feeling well.
“Unfortunately, I’m still not feeling well enough to be outside but I stand with @falzthebahdguy and @iRuntown and all the amazing young people using their voices to say #EndSars,” he tweeted.
