Power season

The delay in the release of The Power series finale is unsettling fans of the series on social media.

Power fans who tuned into Starz TV, an American cable TV network, on Sunday, February 2 and on Netflix on Monday morning to see the series finale of the crime drama were disappointed, as Season 6, Episode 15, titled “Exactly How We Planned” was not aired.

It will not be aired until later in February which means fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see how the show ends.

The finale episode was delayed due to the Super Bowl LIV – aka the biggest sporting event in the American calendar – which took place on Sunday February 2, the show has been pushed back by a week.

The Super Bowl dominated discuss on all social media platforms in the United States and beyond on Sunday.

The breathtaking performances of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira at the halftime show of the sports event also broke the internet.

The Super Bowl, as well as J.Lo and Shakira’s performances, would no doubt have stolen the show from Power series thereby dwarfing any conversation and debate that could have arisen after it would have aired on Sunday. The series producers made a good move by shifting it.

This means Season six episode 15 will be airing on Sunday February 9, 2020.

It will be shown on Starz TV at 9pm, but subscribers to the Starz app will be able to watch it from midnight on Sunday ahead of the broadcast.

While fans in the UK and other parts of the world will have to wait for the episode to drop on Netflix on Monday, February 10, 2020, at the usual time of 8 am.
