When my victory is announced, everybody will be joyous – Akeredolu
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has said that everybody will be in a joyous mood when his victory is announced after the governorship poll in the state.
Akeredolu and his wife have cast their vote at the Ijebu 2, polling unit 6, Ward 5, Isokun Oke area of Owo town in Owo Local Government Area.
The governor is contesting against his deputy, Agboola Ajayi of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, and Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
When Akeredolu who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was asked if he believes the result will favour him, he said:
“Let me tell you something, I don’t ever think about that.
“So I don’t know what will happen.
“All I know is what will happen when my victory is announced, that everybody will be joyous, there will be clapping, singing and dancing. That is all I know.”
