Tinubu cancels 13th colloquium to honour Kaduna-Abuja train attack victims
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday cancelled his 13th birthday colloquium.
Tinubu, who announced the cancellation a few minutes after the official kick-off of the event, described it as a national tragedy.
According to him, continuing with the colloquium would amount to dishour in memory of the Kaduna-Abuja train victims who were attacked by suspected terrorists on Monday evening.
“I am very sad about the situation and it calls for sober reflection,” he openly declared before calling off the event, which already had many many important dignitaries in attendance.
