A 26-year-old vlogger whose name was released as Zhang live-streamed herself eating a poisonous plant known as Agave Americana which she mistook for aloe vera.

The online video blogger appeared online with two dark-green leaves, which looks so much like an aloe vera plant.

In the live-video, she was seen biting a part of the plant and chewing,  then all of a sudden, she started saying it is bitter.

While trying to experiment her teaching, on taking the first bite, Zhang exclaims, “This is great!” However, upon taking her second bite, she began to realize that something was terribly wrong. “Oh, that tastes bitter. Really bitter,” she says to the camera.

According  to Shanghalist,  she was actually eating Agave Americana, a poisonous plant which contains substance that causes slight inflammation or other discomfort to the body.

Zhang said that just one bite made her mouth go numb and her throat feels like it was on fire.

At the hospital, doctors found that Zhang had broken out into rashes and blisters and were forced to pump her stomach to remove parts of the poisonous plant to save her life.

She is however reported to be in stable condition.
