Media personality, VJ Adams, has joined the bandwagon of league of celebrities who have lost their Instagram accounts in the last few days.

Earlier netizens who noticed his ‘disappearance on the platform couldn’t help but wonder if he deactivated or deleted his account over a policy change by the social media giant.

The publicity team of the video Jockey confirmed in a statement on Friday that his account was disabled.

This is just as it urged everyone to desist from doing business or liaising with any page with his name.

His statement read, “Dear Friends and Family,

“This is to bring to your notice that the Instagram account of @iamvjadams has been disabled.

“The news of this development is brought to your notice by the technical team of the Brand “VJ ADAMS” through the office of the Publicity Manager, It’s indeed a disheartening event but we are doing everything technically and humanly possible to get back the page.

“While we work on this, a backup page @veejayadams has been launched to communicate with you all to avoid mix-ups as far as the brand name is concerned.

“Kindly desist from doing business or liaising with any page in the name of VJ ADAMS except through this page @veejayadams, While we work with the Instagram team to get back to the old page, @lamviadams”
