VIDEO: Some women use feminism to justify their wickedness – Chimamanda Adichie
Renowned writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has advised young Nigerian women to stop using being feminists to behave irrationally.
Yesterday, Friday, April 9, Chimamanda became a trending topic on Twitter, after an old video of her talking about Nigerian feminists surfaced.
According to the writer, young Nigerian feminists are often nasty and sound very mean when they talk.
She advised that such women stop using feminism to justify their wickedness.
In the video, Chimamanda said;
“I often say to young Nigerian feminists, please do not use feminism to justify your wickedness.
“So you have some of these young women and I’m talking to them and they sound really mean and I say, you know what, this isn’t feminism, you’re just really nasty.”
