VIDEO: Rivers LG chair rains insults on Gov Fubara

Published

A potential political upheaval looms in Rivers State as Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Samuel Nwanosike, unleashes scathing criticism on Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

In a viral video addressing supporters at Omerelu Community, Nwanosike, a loyalist of former Governor Nyesom Wike, accuses Fubara of ineptitude since assuming office in May 2023, following the fallout between Fubara and Wike in the same year.

Nwanosike alleges that Fubara, who succeeded Wike, has failed to achieve anything for Rivers State, branding him a “foolish Governor.”

He vows to reciprocate insults from Fubara’s associates, asserting, “Any day the likes of Chijioke sent by Fubara insults Wike, I’ll insult Fubara.”

Dismissing claims that Wike sought to control the state, Nwanosike accuses Fubara of naivety, stating, “he doesn’t know what governance is all about.”

Highlighting issues like deteriorating infrastructure and rising crime rates, Nwanosike challenges Fubara’s leadership and calls attention to specific areas in disrepair, such as the Igirita roundabout.

“Go and look at Igirita roundabout by Igirita market by Eleka Road; deathtrap, can’t move. Kidnapping everywhere in Rivers State and you say you’re a Governor,” he said
