Kwara Governor, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has kicked off a campaign against derelict and negligent works of contractors in the state.

The campaign led by Chairman of State Universal Basic Education Board, Prof. Shehu Raheem Adaramaja has paid series of surprise visits to ongoing and completed projects across the state.

Adaramaja stated that the surprising nature of the visits has exposed the nefarious activities of some contractors, and also highlighting the exemplary exploits of some contractors in the execution of these projects.

“Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq wishes to assure the good citizens of Kwara state, that there will be zero tolerance to incompetence in all aspects of project delivery in the state. All culpable contractors will be dealt with accordingly.

This is an ongoing exercise that will continue to maintain the stellar standards that the Kwara state government wishes to develop and maintain,” he said.
