A man claiming to be the younger brother of popular social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has sparked online discussions after accusing him of abandonment.
In a viral video, the young man, who shares a physical resemblance with Verydarkman, alleged that the social media influencer has ignored him since rising to fame.
During an interview with a content creator, the man, who identified himself as Verydarkman’s younger brother, shared his struggles and unsuccessful attempts to reconnect with his alleged sibling.
He said, “I am Verydarkman’s younger brother; he’s my elder brother from Edo State. It’s up to 10 years now, I have not seen my brother. Since he became a popular celebrity, I have tried to reach out to him, but he doesn’t see my messages. You know blood doesn’t lie. When people see me, they could tell I am his brother, and it makes me feel ashamed because of the condition I am living.”
The video has sparked mixed reactions across social media. Some users expressed sympathy for the alleged brother’s plight, while others questioned the authenticity of his claims.
One user, Robbie, commented, “So if you are VDM’s younger brother, so what? Nobody owes anybody anything in this world. Everyone is on their own.”
