University of Calabar to resume Feb. 5, says VC
The Senate of the University of Calabar has announced Feb. 5, 2021 as its resumption date for the 2019/2020 Academic Session, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi, has said.
The Vice Chancellor, who disclosed this to newsmen at the end of the Senate’s meeting on Monday, in Calabar, said the date was carefully chosen to give the management sufficient time to effect repairs in the hostels, vandalised during the EndSARS protests in the institution on Oct. 24, 2020.
“All students are to resume on Feb. 5 while lectures will commence on Feb. 8,” she said.
