There are so many weird things being done in the world today, however, most of the queer things people do, are mostly not done in Africa.

Perhaps the reason why all the crazy things do not happen in Africa as it does in America, Europe and other places, is the fact that our culture and steep religion tends to hold us back from exploring and venturing into the unknown.

Here are 5 crazy things that almost only Westerners can freely do, even without giving it a second thought.

1 – Tattoo lover’s name on forehead

For the fear of 666 alone, the normal African and indeed Nigerian will not venture to do this. First the society sees people with tattoos as some kind of wayward people and are skeptical about associating with them, talk more of when one has names engraved in his or her forehead.

Everywhere such a person goes, you can be sure to hear “Blood-of-Jesus!” at some point.

2 – Marry a dog or pet

It is funny what many people are marrying these days, but you can be sure it is in no way African or Nigerian to say to your parents, friends and colleagues, that you want to marry a dog or any other pet as the case may be.

You can be sure that you will be banished.

3 – Make love to robots

Scientist are now making robots that have close to real human feel, for an enhanced sexual experience. Firstly, these robots would cost some good money, a resource that many Africans do not have at their disposal.

Why go after a robot, when things can be alot cheaper with humans? They say the robots are made for shy men, and one will say, if I am shy, my friend, brothers and kinsmen cannot all be shy, so they will do the talking on my behalf.

4 – Engaging in very risky behavior

Just because they love to explore, the Westerners will do the totally unthinkable, like jump into a lake from a very lofty mount top, knowing that there is a likelihood they would end up dashing themselves against a rock.

Why would you try to walk a long pole across two hill tops, knowing that there is no bed down the valley when you fall.

5 – Sex in really public places

For Africans, there is something very sacred about sex and if it must be done, it should not be public spectacle. It is true that every now and then people hook up in African clubs and get down to the business in the loo, however, it is totally not the African thing to just go on having sex on the street or in some cyber cafe or coffee shop where every other person can watch.

Some say that the Westerners get to do all the weird stuff, because they have all the basic amenities and everything at their disposal.

When a person is plagued with so many things beyond his/her control, and is still trying to survive the day, he or she has little or no business being adventurous like the Westerners.
