TWITTER USER TO LADIES! Stop calling men in mid-20s broke, they cannot afford what 50-year-old men are buying for you
A Nigerian Twitter user has advised ladies to stop calling men in the mid-20s broke, saying they are not yet financially stable.
The Nigerian, who goes by the moniker Śàńgò Óĺùkòśò/@Otunbakush, a reference to the popularly Yoruba deity, the god of lightning and thunder, opines that ladies are harshly judging men in their mid-20s because 50-year-old blokes are buying them what the former can not afford.
He further told mid-20s men to dismiss the notion that having a car and N1 million in a bank account makes them financially stable.

His words,
There is no financially stable young man in his mid-20s. Stop calling young men broke because they can’t afford what 50-year-old men are buying for you.
However, is words have generated divergent opinions on Twitter with one user pointing out that hip-pop artiste, Davido, is in his 20s. @Otunbakush replied cryptically: “Forget Davido”.
No financially stable man in his 20s? Lmao… wait, Davido is not financially stable?

Another user accused @Otunbakush of hasty generalisation, saying he made his first million in his 20s.
Lol… actually yes. I made my first mils in my mid 20s. What’s your point. You can’t be generalizing based on your own clearly very limited views and experiences

One told Olukoso to speak for himself saying,
I’m in my 20s and I can afford most things I want. Speak for yourself son! I think you’ve been living in the 60s.
