Comedian and television host Trevor Noah will host the Grammy Awards for the sixth consecutive year, but this time it’s being billed as a farewell appearance.
The Recording Academy announced on Tuesday that the South African comedian is returning “one final time” to host the ceremony on February 1, 2026, where he will also serve as an executive producer. Only singer Andy Williams, who hosted seven times in the 1970s, has hosted more often.
Noah, a four-time Grammy nominee himself, is nominated this year in the Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording category for his children’s story, “Into The Uncut Grass.”
The 68th Grammy Awards, featuring leading nominees like Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and Jack Antonoff, will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Since his hosting debut, the former *Daily Show* host has been praised for his wit and composure, becoming a trusted and familiar presence who balances humor with the prestige of the event. Organizers cited his steady hosting style and strong connection with artists and global audiences as reasons for his return.
