Bruce Willis bounced from pharmacy for refusing to wear facemask
Iconic Hollywood actor, Bruce Willis, was chased out of a Los Angeles-area Rite-Aid pharmacy for refusing to wear a facemask.
Page Six reported that the Die Hard actor, who had a bandana on his neck and could have easily used as a makeshift mask, left the store in the LA County (the epicentre of the coronavirus crisis in California) without purchasing anything.
The report added that a Rite-Aid staff asked him to leave after “people inside the store became upset that Willis, 65, wasn’t wearing a mask.”
Following the report, the Red actor has since released a statement to People Magazine, saying it was a mistake, and encouraging people to continue to wear their face masks.
“It was an error in judgment,” said Willis. “Be safe out there everyone and let’s continue to mask up.”
