AFRIFF 2021: Austen-Peters’ ‘Collision Course’ selected to close film festival
A new film produced by movie and theatre director, Bolanle Austen-Peters, has been selected as the closing film of the African International Film Festival 2021.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by her media team on Friday.
The statement read, “Collision Course’ was selected as the festival closing film from the array of entries the festival received. Festival closing films are typically the centrepiece film of festivals and are important films that satisfy the festival critical screening and review criteria for it to deserve the festival closing night spotlight.”
The movie, which is directed by Bolanle Austen-Peters, and produced by Joseph Umoibom and James Amuta, featured A-list actors like Kalu Ikeagwu, Nobert Young, Chioma Akpotha, Daniel Effiong, Kelechi Udegbe, Ade Laoye, Kenneth Okolie, Bimbo Manuel, Gregory Ojefua, Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan (BamBamCollision), amongst others.
The Africa International Film Festival is an annual film festival that takes place in Nigeria.
