Tom Cruise daughter refuses to move in with him at penthouse formerly owned by Queen of England

Tom Cruise has been living a life of luxury in London over the last two years while filming for his high-profile movie projects.

And according to a new report from Woman’s Day, the 58-year-old is now persuading his daughter Bella, 27, to come live with him at his palatial penthouse in the historic Corinthia Residences – which were previously owned by The Queen.

The opulent $455,000-a-month property is undoubtedly fit for Hollywood royalty with its four bedrooms, indoor pool and jaw-dropping view – but even that may not be enough to lure Bella.

Neighbours have told the Australian publication that she prefers to live in a more low-profile manner compared to the lavish lifestyle she was accustomed to growing up.

In stark contrast, Tom is living in style at his penthouse residence, which contains a mini Harrods-inspired department store and a spa over the span of four floors.

A source claims: ‘Tom has a dedicated team of staff to look after his every whim, where he can call for room service from the Corinthia’s in-house restaurants such as Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge’s Bar & Grill.’

The property is also situated just down the road from 10 Downing Street.

Tom and his ex-wife Nicole Kidman adopted Bella in 1992. Her biological younger brother, Connor Cruise, now 25, was also adopted by the A-list couple three years later.

Top Gun actor doesn’t appear to be handing any significant chunks of money down to his adopted daughter, despite being one of Hollywood’s richest stars with a fortune of $570 million.

But it seems there’s no hard feelings, as the Church of Scientology ‘Poster Girl’ appeared in a promo thanking her famous father.

In a marketing ad, Bella credited the Church of Scientology for providing the missing piece in her life after undertaking extensive training to become an auditor.

In an email initially shared with London based Scientologists and subsequently published on Scientology blog, The Underground Bunker, Bella claimed she was ‘drowning in problems’ before qualifying for the role.

Reflecting on her training, she wrote, “It turned out it was exactly what I needed. I dragged out the testing and correction, just made it through the drilling and then finally began my auditing adventure, and wow, I wasn’t prepared. This IS what I had been searching for. The missing piece.”

Bella credited her father, full name Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, her aunt Cass Mapother and various members of the church for helping her through a series of issues while she underwent her training.

“Thank you to my Dad for everything,” she wrote. “To Cass. To Tash. I would have drowned in my own problems if you hadn’t been there to sup me or get me through the preliminaries,” Bella wrote.

Bella, a former art student, has chosen to live her life away from the spotlight in Croydon, a suburb outside London.

She lives in a simple three-bedroom semi-detached house with her husband, which they bought for $693,000 (N264m) in June 2017, according to the title deeds.

She married computer programmer Max in a secret ceremony in 2015.

Just like her father, Bella is a staunch Scientologist, but has been living away from the rest of the Cruise family for the past five years, who have all relocated to be close to the Church headquarters in Clearwater, Florida.
