Real Madrid and Portuguese World Footballer of the year, Cristiano Ronaldo, has reportedly agreed to join Juventus and will be unveiled on Saturday, with an agreement in place for a four-year contract worth €30 million (£26.5m/$35m) per season.

After beating Liverpool in the Champions League final, in Kiev, Ronaldo came out to say that he was unsure about his future with Los Blancos:

“Now to enjoy, and in the next few days I will give an answer to the fans that they are on my side, it was very nice to be in Madrid,” he told reporters.

It seemed like it would be a repeat of last year, the Portugal international merely kicking up a fuss, but Marca reported just last night that Ronaldo and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will be having a meeting to discuss the future of the star, with Perez adamant that he does not want a saga to take up the whole summer.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Turin for some time, but now publication Goal are saying that the move has just stepped up a gear; a deal is in place, agreed, and Ronaldo will be playing football in Italy next season.

And outlet AS are now reporting that they will unveil the star on Saturday.

Various sources are suggesting that a shock move is on the cards.

Should everything be wrapped up, Manchester United will receive 2.5% of the payment to Real.
