TikTok sensation Khaby Lame who lost his job to pandemic now worth $2m
Senegalese-Italian TikTok creator, Khabane Lame aka Khaby Lame, is one individual many netizens have come to know.
The 21-year-old was born in Senegal but now lives in Italy.
He became famous for his comic expressions and reaction videos, which often show him gazing into the camera with a peculiar look or sarcastically providing an easy answer to a difficult issue.
The content creator began making TikTok videos in March 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic.
He shared his content under the handle “Khaby Lame” after he lost his job working at a factory.
His TikTok account now has more than 90.2 million followers and more than 1.3 billion likes.
Khaby has surpassed Addison Rae to become the second-most-followed TikToker in the world.
Some people think he could even be on track to overtake Charli and claim the top spot as the world’s most popular TikTokker.
Having shot to internet fame over the past year, Khaby Lame’s net worth has also skyrocketed.
It is estimated that the youngster is worth between $1-$2 million (N412million-N823million).
According to Influencer Marketing Hub, Khaby could be charging between $98,561 (40.7m) and $147,842 (60.9m) per TikTok post.
