Award-winning filmmaker and actress, Toyin Abraham, has revealed that she acted almost 58 times on just one scene of the movie, “The Bling Lagosians.”

The actress said this while promoting a new movie by Bolanle Austen-Peters currently making waves in cinemas.

“I have acted almost 58 times in this one scene alone….”

“This is just a bit of the fun behind the scenes of #theblinglagosians but it’s nothing compared to the rib-cracking drama waiting for you in the movie itself…”Toyin said.

The movie which was released in cinemas on June 28th, stars Monalisa Chinda Coker, Toyin Abraham, Elvina Ibru, Denola Grey, Sharon Ooja, Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Broda Shaggi, Faithia Williams, Alexx Ekubo amongst others.

The Bling Lagosians is about the affluent, brash, flamboyant, audacious and most times over the top lifestyle of Lagosians. The movie shows the lifestyle of a Lagos family that is presently living in their past glory.

Although they are not as wealthy as they once were, they still want to live that lifestyle they once used to live. They want to host the talk of the town kind of party, they want to wear the best designers and ride the fastest of cars even if they are wallowing in debt.

This movie is intended to show how people go the extreme to keep up appearances in society.
