Award-winning Nigerian singer, Teni D Entertainer has taken to social media to lambaste those who criticized her for supporting the winner of Big Brother Naija season 5, Olamilekan ‘Laycon’ Agbeleshe.

Teni was dragged on social media a few days ago after making a video campaigning for Laycon and indirectly referring to disqualified housemate, Erica as ‘Omo Igbo.’

In the video she shared via her Twitter account, Teni urged ‘Omo Igbos’ to leave Laycon alone, which was perceived by some Nigerians on social media as a tribal shade at Erica.

This caused some sort of tribal rift online, with people from the south-eastern region referring to Teni as a tribalist.

However, after Laycon emerged winner of BBNaija on Sunday, Teni who had been silent on everything Big Brother Naija, took to her Twitter page releasing a song celebrating Laycon’s fans, ‘ICONS.’

Alongside the video, she wrote:

“Now I have your time, where are those fools that were saying rubbish!! This is how you WIN.”
