Opeyemi David, a politician and husband of Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing has reacted to the threat by Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria to frustrate his wife out of the industry.

A piqued David stated that TAMPAN has shown that it is an association with ‘misplaced priorities’ that is struggling to admit to its own ‘dereliction of duties.’

Jide Kosoko had on June 27 threatened at a press conference with TAMPAN board of directors to frustrate Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo from the industry.

The threat has seemingly infuriated the actress’s husband who has replied in like manner.

David on Monday warned Kosoko to steer clear of his wife, Nkechi, as breaking her as he threatened is tantamount to breaking him.

He said; “Before you attempt to silence her or frustrate her, kindly be ready for me. What your association has shown is pure misplaced priorities and dereliction of duties. I respect all elders without fear because no human being is God. It’s a pain to the heart knowing wisdom is required but folly prevails. She is my soul mate and the moment you are breaking her then be ready to break.”
