Take time to reflect on Easter blessings, Obama tells Christians
Former President of the United States, Barack Obama has urged Christians across the world to take out time to reflect on the blessings that come with Easter celebration.
Obama sent the message to Christians across the world via his verified Twitter handle alongside a throwback photo of his family.
His message comes amidst the outbreak of COVID-19, racism, gender inequality, insecurity and terrorism wreaking havoc across the world.
In a statement to his 130 million followers on Sunday, Obama wished all a safe and happy celebration.
He tweeted, “Easter, I hope we can all take some time to reflect on the blessings we enjoy and the hope we have for a brighter future. From our family to yours, have a safe and happy Easter.”
