Nollywood actor, Sunkanmi Omobolanle has been slammed for celebrating Hushpuppi’s birthday on Instagram.

Hushpuppi, an Instagram celebrity who is currently facing trial in the US for cyber crimes, clocked 38 today.

To celebrate him, Sunkanmi Omobolanle took to his page with a post wishing him well.

He wrote:

“I pray ya Allah today to give you long life and be with you all the days of your life Rahmon AAAAA happy birthday HUSH.”

His post didn’t sit well with a follower who wondered why the actor is celebrating Hushpuppi despite an allegation that he defrauded millions.

He wrote:

“Someone that’s ruined the lives of millions of innocent souls both home and abroad, and who’s finally being caught up with by the long arm of the law, is the person you’re publicly showing affection for. You should have some shame, at least.”

Sunkanmi Omobolanle replied:

“Shame for posting him on his birthday day .. haba he’s human after all .. moreover u be God? Why judge ?? Omo iya mi .. life no b so .. eni ba lo mo oo .. shey o ti ye?”
