Nigerian activist, Omoyele Sowore has made it to Twitter Nigeria’s top trends after photos of him making his appearance in a court sitting in Abuja with a native doctor in tow hit the internet.
Sowore was pictured with a traditional spiritual leader dressed in full regalia in before the commencement of his trial.
Recall that Sowore was arrested alongside four protesters in December 2020, for organizing a candlelight procession and for inciting public disturbance.
The native doctor was seen waving his horsewhip and gourd while performing some incantations ahead of the trial.
