Social media is a lethal weapon, says Nollywood actor
Nollywood Actor and Human Right Ambassador, Yomi Fabiyi, has described social media as a lethal weapon and advised his followers on its usage.
Fabiyi advised people to be careful in the way they portray themselves, seeing that social media has become a toxic place, that no one can be trusted.
He wrote that space comes with a lot of fake smiles and pseudo-accounts, hypocritical behaviour, and a lot of toxic acts and attitudes.
According to him, social media is a lethal weapon that has become more poisonous and dangerous than knives, guns, and poisons.
He wrote on Twitter,
“Social Media is such a LETHAL WEAPON that allows the closest person to you come friendly, all smiles with real account & simultaneously use fake accounts or proxies to hurt your brand, reputation & image with lies, half-information + blackmail. SM now deadlier than gun, knife etc”.
